Purpose and scope

These general terms and conditions of sale govern all bookings made directly with Palais Chadmi, through palaischadmi-marrakech.net or its secure booking engine at book.palaischadmi-marrakech.net. By booking, the guest fully accepts these terms and conditions.

Bookings made through an online travel agency or any other third-party platform are governed by that platform’s own terms and conditions.

Booking and confirmation

Bookings are made through our secure booking engine and confirmed by email. A bank card is required as a guarantee. Bookings are personal, must be made by an adult and may not be transferred without prior approval from Palais Chadmi.

Rates and taxes

Rates are shown in Moroccan dirhams (MAD), including VAT and service charges. A tourist tax of MAD 28 per person, per night is added separately and paid at the property.

Rates are dynamic: the applicable rate is the one displayed and accepted at the time of booking.

Payment

Full payment for the stay is due on arrival. Payment is accepted in Moroccan dirhams, in cash or by Visa or Mastercard. No non-refundable rates are offered for direct bookings. Bookings made through a third-party platform are subject to that platform’s payment terms.

Cancellation, changes and no-show

Cancellation is free of charge until 24 hours before the scheduled arrival day. After this deadline, and in the event of a no-show, the full amount of the stay is due. In the event of early departure, the full booked stay remains payable.

Any specific conditions displayed in the booking engine at the time of booking take precedence over this general framework. A request to amend a booking is treated as a new request and remains subject to availability.

Arrival and departure

Rooms are available from 2pm on arrival day and must be vacated by 11am on departure day. Luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out. Early check-in or late check-out may be granted on request, subject to availability.

Please share your arrival time so that the team can organise your welcome at the agreed drop-off point around Jemaa el-Fna.

Children, bedding and occupancy

Children of all ages are welcome and remain under the responsibility of their parents or legal guardians. Babies stay free of charge and a complimentary cot is available on request. Extra beds are not available.

The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old. The maximum occupancy of each room is stated on its page and in the booking confirmation.

House rules

All rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas, with due consideration for other guests. Pets may only be accommodated on request and with the property’s prior approval.

Parties, excessive noise and any behaviour likely to disturb other guests are prohibited unless expressly authorised by Palais Chadmi. Unregistered outside visitors are not permitted inside the property.

Pool

The pool has no fixed opening hours and may be enjoyed with due consideration for the peace and comfort of all guests. It is unsupervised. Children must remain under the supervision and responsibility of an adult at all times.

Accessibility

Palais Chadmi is a historic residence located within the mainly pedestrian lanes of the medina. Its historic architecture cannot guarantee access adapted to every mobility requirement. Guests with particular needs should contact the team before booking so that suitable arrangements can be discussed.

Access, parking and transfers

The palace is reached on foot from an agreed drop-off point around Jemaa el-Fna. A member of the team meets arriving guests, and luggage assistance can be arranged on request. Paid car parks are available around the square.

A private airport transfer can be arranged on request. For direct bookings of three nights or more, an airport transfer is complimentary under the conditions specified at the time of booking.

Private events

Private dinners and events may be organised on request and with written approval from Palais Chadmi. Specific conditions, capacities and rates apply. Parties and gatherings are not permitted outside this agreed framework.

Direct booking benefits

Bookings made directly with Palais Chadmi include the best direct rate, an upgrade subject to availability on arrival, a complimentary welcome dinner for stays of two nights or more, and a complimentary airport transfer for stays of three nights or more. These benefits apply to every guest included in the booking.

Liability

Palais Chadmi may not be held liable for loss, theft, damage or injury except in cases of proven fault or negligence by the property. A safe is provided in every room. Guests are responsible for their personal belongings and for following the team’s safety instructions. Travel insurance is recommended.

Force majeure

Palais Chadmi may not be held liable for failure to provide or cancellation of a stay resulting from force majeure, including natural disasters, strikes, public-health emergencies, government restrictions or major transport disruption.

Personal data

Personal data required for the stay is collected to manage bookings and related communications. It is not sold. Booking processing relies on Cloudbeds for the booking engine and transactional communications.

Subject to your consent, Google Analytics 4 measures website traffic and usage in aggregate. No advertising tracking is enabled. Your choice is stored in your browser and can be changed at any time through the “Privacy preferences” link in the footer.

Governing law, disputes and legal notice

These terms and conditions are governed by Moroccan law. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably will fall within the jurisdiction of the courts of Marrakech.
